Really, I have no idea about distances and driving times. It's
pathetic. Somehow, I thought it would be easier to go from Las Vegas,
after a week of poker, to San Diego, spend two days there and check out
a couple of museums on the itinerary of the West Coast Museum Tour, and
then go from San Diego back to Madtown. It turns out that this plan would have added three more hours of driving time, and I'd still have to drive through Los Angeles to get back to Madtown. A joke: What's the best part of Los Angeles? The freeways out of it.
Snap! I just made that up; feel free to work it into conversation,
making sure, of course, to give me credit, and then pointing anybody
who laughs to this here website. Anyway, instead of screwing Los
Angeles, I'm screwing San Diego; I'm sure San Diego will never be the
same. I'll save driving time and I'll get to see some really top-flight
museums, which San Diego, as much as I love it, can't match.
