It's tricky. Bush & Company is falling apart, and in very entertaining and apalling ways. You almost have to think that they're trying to self-destruct, but, no, this is just who they are. Inept and stupid and in complete self-denial.

Right now, they're trying to minimize the blowback from their latest catastrophe by insisting that Karl Rove will not testify under oath to Congress. Slate offers some alternatives.
