One of the coolest people that I know has just restarted her blog, and it's still great. How do I know? It's easy: when we were in grad school together, we shared an office and she sat at the desk next to mine. I never got any work done while she was around because all we would do was talk and talk. If I had flunked out, it would have been all her fault. Also, when she writes me letters and e-mails, it's just like having my own private, brilliant essayist. It's not even fair because all she gets in return for her insightful and beautiful writing are letters and e-mails from me.
